Sorry for such a long hiatus. I've been busy.
Anyways, AMD as of yesterday, has announced an possibly disruptive entry in the industry. A new GPU based on their new Polaris architecture, which uses a 14nm FinFET that lowers manufacturing cost, reduces energy usage and improves performance.
The RX 480.
AMD claims that the performance is on par with NVIDIA's GTX 980 and their own R9 390X. Two cards in crossfire actually outperform NVIDIA's recently released GTX 1080 in Ashe's Of Singularity, which is an impressive feat.
And the real kicker is the price.
~$200 for a single card. A SINGLE card.
A $200 dollar card that can outperform their competitors card for half the price. That's utterly insane if the performance is what AMD claims. Additionally, there might be a chance for even slightly higher-end cards like a possible 480X, 480X2, 490, 490X, 490X2 (speculation).
This could very well be a changing point in the industry if what AMD claims is true. We might actually see some heavy drops in price in NVIDIA's line-up since AMD has ramped up on competition. Not only that, but AMD plans to release it's Vega architecture in October, which, built on the same architecture could be a true competitor to the 1070, 1080 and eventual 1080ti.
The card will release on June 29th, so we shall see how the card actually performs.

[7/31/2014] Inactivity yet again! I apologize!
Sooo... I've been going to work lately, starting from the 16th of last month. I've been a bit short on time, especially considering I have about an hour and a half of a bus ride both to and from work. However, I may use that time to write some posts with my iPod.
So recent events...
I have just gotten my graphics card last Friday. It's a EVGA GTX 780 Ti Dual Classified... and holy shit. It's definitely a large card. A good 2-3 times longer than my previous card. I have been using ShadowPlay to record games for my channel that I'll link in the new paragraph.
Secondly, I decided that I'd restart my channel on YouTube. I used to have an old channel called "TheFiftyFifthHokage," which was based largely on the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series, but it eventually got too much in terms of the community and such. I also wasn't getting anymore views on some of the other videos based around other games so I eventually decided to scrap the channel. Now, a quite a bit of the channel content will be related around Let's Plays on various games that I have on my Steam (around 300) and around League of Legends and other MOBAs.
Check out my channel! Channel art, avatar and the works are coming soon: http://www.youtube.com/user/KuronekoOfDarkness
Thirdly, I was assigned college dorm rooms and what can I say... I'm disappointed. I was assigned a dorm in the Saint Paul campus, in which none of my classes are going to be there... I have sent in a application to hopefully get my dorm changed, hopefully a single dorm so I can commentate and such on my videos much easier without having to worry about having someone in my dorm.
Fourthly, I've been playing a lot of League, like an excessive amount of League. ARAMs is way too fun at times, especially when you have friends with and just pretty much YOLO the game. I've also been doing very well as ADC in normal games, going positive in almost all of them.
Anyways, despite all this, I will try and update this blog a bit more, and post more of my videos so I can possibly get more viewers and possibly subscribers.
I hope to see you guys soon!

Instalockers are so potato.
I'm sure for those who play MOBA's, you understand how I feel.
Instalockers are those who instantly choose a champion, lock it in, and forcibly take a position that someone else has claimed.
Not only is this detrimental to the team, largely due to the original person now having to play another lane with a champion least suited for it, it also causes teamwork malfunctions, as people are bitter due to the stolen position.
Secondly, a lot of times, the players are often bad at holding their lane against their enemy, dragging the entire team down. I had a game, not so long ago, in which a person instalocked Ahri at mid lane, causing a Karthus to resort to jungling, a Gragas to resort to support and a Diana to resort to top lane. I was ADC at the time. Not only did she lose her lane, but gave Master Yi (enemy jungle) quite a bit of kills, which made him basically impossible to beat late game, but a Gragas support leaves much to be desired.
I mean literally, it just causes way more problems than it's supposed to and basically ruins the game for those who wanted to play a semi-decent game.
If you really want a lane badly, perhaps ask if someone takes it. Not everyone in this game is selfish, but some are willing to give up a spot. Secondly, if you can't get the lane you want, suck it up. You're not going to get everything in life and learning how to play other lanes or roles will help you later on.
Anyways, done with my rant.

Man... it's really hot.
So, lately it's been really hot here in Minnesota, extremely hot. Right now, we hover somewhere in the 80's-90's in terms of temperature (F). Now, this probably wouldn't be so bad if we had an air conditioner put in. Which we don't. All we have are some fans and an open window. Add in the fact that I have my computer running, which makes it even hotter in the room makes it worse.
This actually kind of makes me want to go back to my friends house again this weekend, just because his small trailer has an air conditioner and is much less stuffy inside. It is raining, but it doesn't seem to be cooling down the ambient air and might possibly increase the humidity. If it wasn't for my pretty terrible neighborhood, I would love to be outside riding my bike or just relaxing...
Oh wells. I guess that's what I get for being such an introvert and internet addict.
Anyways, because of this, playing League or other games will be taken up by watching anime or reading manga, typing blogs (as I'm doing at the moment) or just plain ol' surfing the web.

One For All is fun... to a point.
Not too long ago, All For One mode was released for everyone on the League servers. Unlike the previous one, this one is based on the concept that both sides have the same characters. So, say if you choose LeBlanc, both teams are all composed of LeBlanc. Secondly, the normal version of this mode is now on Howling Abyss, rather than Summoners Rift, making the game much less serious and more faster paced.
However, I find this to be a con at times. Some characters that don't have much push power such as Braum or Shaco, which leads to long, sometimes boring games. The concept itself is quite warming, considering that it used to be a mod long before, and Riot is taking it as an idea, but it seems that the game gets fairly repetitive.
In a positive light, the game can be very fun when everyone is cooperating and doing entirely unorthodox builds. For example, I went tanky Zed and Yasuo and basically did better than some of the people on my team. It also allows people to experiment with different types of characters, considering that as long as one person has the character, anyone can vote for it in the champion select.
Overall, however, I find the game mode the funnest when you're with your friends, rather than solo. Not only can you laugh at the stupidity of so many ulti's and spells being used at once, but you gain a sense of pride when you use your abilities better than the enemy and win. I guess that this game mode is a 50-50 for me, some points are an absolute blast at times and can make your day, but it can also leave you frustrated when things just get bad.
So, I suggest you try it out. It's definitely fun the first game.

Sorry for the absence of posts...
Lately, I've been feeling a bit weird I guess. I don't really feel like playing games or anything, and I just feel like surfing the web for pointless things to entertain myself. Maybe it's because I want to try and get my work done for school and such... but I'm under the spell of Shikamaru and I feel like doing absolutely nothing...
It's basically the end of my high-school career and I'm pretty much free to do whatever I want. So, I am getting a lot more free time. Since I've gotten a new keyboard, I feel like finishing this post that I started about a week ago. I've also got a new mouse that'll work amazingly well for anything. With a new build coming up soon, this'll all become together and make the best gaming experience ever.
I'll be also trying to do some of the reviews on the stuff I buy from Newegg, as I enjoy reviewing things that I've used and enjoy.
Anyways, off to watch some Higurashi and such.

May the Fourth be with you! STAR WARS DAY!
Good day, my fellow Jedi and Sith, today is a remarkable day in the history of this universe...
Kidding. Anyways, giving you a small update, Steam is having a sale on a majority of the Star Wars games present on the platform, including the Force Unleashed and Battlefront. I decided to pick up about five games from my childhood and I'm about to play them. Check them out on Steam before it's too late.
